The Dodgers are just not going to get away with sweeping the Giants like that, especially if Streetcar 1010 has anything to say about it!

So, San Francisco has a fleet of historic streetcars that run on its F-Market line. A bunch of them are actually from San Francisco, but they also have ones from many other cities around the US (and the rest of the world)...including three from Los Angeles. While all of the streetcars are surely proud to be serving as functional history on wheels in San Francisco, some allegiances die hard when the L.A. cars are concerned.

Car 1010 has 1940s San Francisco livery. Cars 1040 and 1050 are both painted in San Francisco's 1950s livery. Car 1080 is an Angeleno whose old habits die hard.

Oh gasp! How dare 1080 mock the Giants? X'D I guess that's the odd one of that streetcar family then. Nice teamwork by 1040 & 1050. I love the way you color things, by the way.

It's not even so much that 1080 is mocking the Giants first and foremost. It's that she legitimately still roots for the Dodgers. Which definitely has an inherent level of Eff You involved, since she's a San Francisco streetcar now, but hey...

1010 is having none of it. As far as she's concerned, anyone who roots for the Dodgers has no business serving San Francisco in any capacity, let alone being a functional transit museum. 1040 and 1050 are not going to have an easy time holding her back.

Oh crap! Then 1010 is going to run 1080 off the street. D: And yeah, I've heard that the baseball rivalry between the Dodgers and the Giants was no joke, and that just confirms it.

And yeah, that is a very serious business baseball rivalry. It's definitely one where Giants fans don't simply want the Giants to be the Dodgers, they want everyone to beat the Dodgers.
