Mehler Liedswelt the marten conducting. I'm not going to pretend he's not based on a certain famous conductor/composer...

Watercolor and colored pencil on paper that's supposed to work fine for watercolor but actually buckles anyway.

WOW. Is it odd I love his fingertips? I also adore his expression- just, intense, focused, but smiling as well. <3 *favourites*

*slaps forehead* Now I see a picture of this character after wondering so long where to go for reference... lol I'm sorry, I got some of the markings wrong... I just went for 'dark' + 'pine martin'.

Hey, you should really put picture refrence links in your SS database post!

No worries! I don't think I'd actually drawn this picture yet when I signed up in the database.
I still absolutely LOVE the picture you drew for me!

Wow! This is one of your best, I think! Nice job on the fur and clothing, especially! And the perspective, too! :)

As I mentioned in the chat (before you were Stalinized) I absolutely love his intense expression (and the little baton wavy thingies! Whoosh!)
What I didn't get to mention was how the colors in his jacket are really awesome. Now I want to know how you did that because those are the colors I see when Xeela's sitting in the sun but I haven't the faintest idea of how to reproduce that effect on paper...

Way awesome, Mitya. ^_^

And you still need a devART icon. Hrmm...
